1. Memory
One of Sven's favorite memories was when he and Edmond actually met. He'd seen the dark haired boy many times before but was too afraid to introduce himself, mostly because he'd seen how he reacted to meeting new people; hatefully. So, when Sven finally worked up the courage to go up to Edmond, hold out his hand and say "Hello, I'm Sven," he was thrilled when Edmond gave him an odd look before taking the offered appendage and supplying his own name.
2. Rain
"I. Hate. Rain." Edmond spat darkly as they trudged home through the down pour. Sven chuckled and tilted his head back, allowing the drops to hit his forehead, "It's not so bad. Kind of refreshing really."
"Fuck you, Sven. Fuck you right in the ear."
3. Disturbed
Sven knew Edmond was a very disturbed person. So, naturally, he wasn't really all that surprised when he walked into the kitchen one day and found Edmond microwaving a dead squirrel wrapped in tinfoil.
4. Specific
Sven wasn't sure what attracted him to Edmond, specifically. Was it the soft hair? The smooth skin? Those intense charcoal eyes? Those perfect lips? Or, was it just specifically Edmond he was attracted to? He wasn't sure he'd ever know, but he was okay with that.
5. Nice
There were two different kinds of nice for Edmond. There was the kind everyone experienced, in which Edmond would not punch them in the face for saying something stupid, and the kind that he reserved only for Edric, Sven and kittens.
6. Aim
Sven had always assumed that Edmond had terrible aim. This is mostly because Edmond often seemed to just attack with no forethought and fight violently until the battle was over. One day, however, after making a comment about the laundry not being done and it was Edmond's job since he was the 'female' in the relationship, he learned the hard way that Edmond actually had excellent aim when three knives embedded themselves in the wall, only centimeters from his head, and Edmond proclaimed that the next would have taken off part of his ear.
That same day, Sven also learned how to do the laundry.
7. Twin
Edmond and Edric had never been exactly the same. While their faces were identical, their hair color and personalities were not. One year, for Halloween, when they were only ten, Edric dyed his hair black and they went as vampires. No one was able to tell them apart. Until, however, Edmond pounced on some boy and began beating him for saying that vampires were gay, while Edric just stood by and cried. That made it pretty obvious as to who was who.
8. Poet
Sven was by no means a poet, but being with Edmond often left him with poetic thoughts.
9. Worse
S: "What would be worse, losing me or Edric?"
E: "Losing you."
S: "Really? Why?"
E: "You're strong. If I lost Edric, I could come to you for comfort and you would make it a little better. If I lost you, Edric would be just as devastated as me and then we'd both be fucked."
S: "Oh... Wow... That's actually kind of sweet."
E: "Plus, I have a big life insurance policy on Edric. If I lost him, I'd get half a million. If I lost you, I wouldn't get anything."
S: "You're not exactly trying to win any Mr. Sensitivity awards, are you?"
10. Head
Even though he loved the feeling, Sven still hesitated when it came to Edmond giving him head. This is completely due to the fact that Edmond's sharp, pointed teeth could easily slice through his skin if he wasn't careful. In fact, the only reason Sven ever let Edmond give him head was because the younger man was so good at it that the red head often completely forgot his worries as soon as Edmond went down on him.
11. Property
In public, Edmond came off as wild, uncontrollable and belonging to no one. In bed, however, he would voluntarily allow Sven to tie him down and call him his pet, even going so far as to call Sven his master and beg for more.
12. Delicate
Edmond was by no means delicate. Infact, he could probably be hit in the face by a nuclear bomb and be fine, albeit very pissed. Still, that didn't stop both Edric and Sven from panicking when Edmond was bucked off a horse while learning to ride. They both calmed a great deal, however, when he quickly got up, went to the horse and punched it in the face.
13. Friendship
Earning Edmond's friendship was believed to be an incredibly difficult feat only attempted by those who were crazy and only won by one in a million. Sven knew otherwise. All you really had to do was bring him a basket with a kitten, some chocolate and a copy of a newly released Xbox game inside and he'd declare you his best friend for life.
14. Politeness
Sven liked to be polite. He didn't believe in unnecessary rudeness or disliking others for no reason. Edmond, however, didn't really seem to care either way and often got Sven into some pretty delicate situations that he rarely ever escaped from unharmed.
15. Moon
Sometimes, while they would lay outside in the grass at night, with the moon as the only witness, Sven would whisper sweet nothings and run his fingers through dark hair and Edmond would relax and let his eyes slip closed and just enjoy being close to the person he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.
16. Moment
Many people knew that it only took a moment for Edmond to become incredibly angry. What most didn't know, however, was if you played your cards right, it only took a moment for him to be happy again. For Sven, a quick kiss on the temple usually did the trick.
17. Genetics
Sven often believed that genetics had not been nice to him. He was slightly pale, had red hair, freckles, was less than graceful on his feet and his hands seemed too big. When he voiced these concerns to Edmond, the younger man called him an idiot, crawled in his lap and kissed him.
18. Adult
When Sven was a child all he wanted to be when he grew up was an astronaut. He kept this dream well into high school and even after graduating. After meeting the twins, however, he decided that space could go fuck itself, and all he needed was right there with him.
19. Front
Edmond often put up a strong front in public. In private, it often came crumbling down. He cried during chick-flicks, laughed at stupid jokes, took care of several cats and openly admitted to loving it when Sven would randomly hug him or kiss him or even just run his fingers through Edmond's hair.
20. Rejection
If there's one thing Edmond doesn't deal with well, its rejection. Which is why Sven does his best to never say no. When Edmond picks up a random cat on the street, Sven lets him keep it. When Edmond wants to beat someone up for whatever reason, Sven doesn't stop him. When they're in bed and Edmond wants Sven to hurt him, Sven does it. Not because he wants to, but because if he doesn't, one of them is going to get hurt anyway, and he isn't the one who wants it.
