Couples:
Kevin & Devon
Kevin was young when they met and fully believed it would never work out. But, against the odds, the two stuck together and eventually married, then adopted two children, Davina and Koenraad. Devon is a hard worker and spends a lot of his time at his father's company, where he is a CEO. Kevin got his Doctorate in teaching and became a History professor at a local college. Though they tend to be busy, they always make time for one another and their kids. They plan dates for the two of them and family days where they go out and do something as a family. Though Devon tends to be rather harsh, Kevin brings out the best in him and is quick to jump on him about being too mean.
Rorick (Rori) & Koenraad (Koen)
These two became best friends in elementary and have stuck together ever since. They stayed best friends throughout high school and got an apartment together after graduating. They didn't start dating until a few years later, but it was obvious by then they were meant to be. The two love all the same activities, even though they can be very different personality wise. Rori has a short temper and gets really snappish really quick, whereas Koen is much more laid back and rarely gets mad.
Zayne & Alex
It was by sheer coincidence that Zayne asked Alex for directions while traveling one day, and by a whim that Alex invited him over for a hot meal and a warm place to stay for the night. Alex loved hearing Zayne's stories so much that he invited him for another night, then another, until eventually it stopped occurring to either of them that he should ever leave. Their relationship started as purely physical, but evolved into something much more very quickly. Zayne is adventurous, friendly, and well on the naive side, but has a very kind heart. Alex tries to be a typical jock, but he's nicer and smarter than most of his jock friends, so he doesn't really fit into the stereotype.
Caspian (Cas) & Darik
Caspian was born Cassandra, but hated it so much that he became a male and called himself Caspian, much to the dismay of the other Tricksters. They shunned him, which nearly got him killed when some of the earliest Hunter's captured him. Darik happily swooped in to save him, however, and so started a weird bond between two total opposites. Caspian, the constantly angry and cruel Trickster, and Darik, the laid-back and flirty Trickster. It would take 3,000 years of courting on Darik's part before Cas finally came around and admitted to any feelings. The two fell into a surprisingly happy and stable relationship which they're very proud of.
Kazimir (Kaz) & Sullivan
These two met in middle school and became friends over their mutual outcast status. In high school, however, Kaz became popular thanks to his amazing looks and stellar personality, a stark contrast to Sullivan's gothic appearance and rather depressing demeanor. He and Sullivan stayed best friends though and spent much of their time together. Kids joked that they were so close they were practically lovers, so they began holding hands and acting as though they were dating as a joke. What started as a joke, however, evolved. Neither is sure where the joke ended and the real relationship began, but they like to agree that it was right around their first kiss. They graduated together and shared a dorm when they headed to the same college.
Edmond & Sven
They became friends without really meaning to through Edric and Augustus. Edmond was very wary of Sven at first, but warmed up to his charming personality quickly. Their relationship started as a purely physical means to relieve stress and tension, but over a year it turned into something more. They don't keep up with an anniversary of any sort but do go on dates, though they really prefer to just spend their time in bed. Despite their odd relationship, they do love each other and remind one another on a regular basis.
Edric & Augustus
Do you believe in love at first sight? These two do. They fell hard for one another very quickly and began dating almost immediately. They're very devoted boyfriends, almost to the point that it makes people around them sort of sick. They're both very sweet people so finding common ground and activities to do together had been easy. Their relationship isn't difficult to maintain and they rarely argue about anything or experience any sort of drama. They trust one another completely.
Cadick & Oliver
They also met thanks to Edric and Augustus, but their relationship isn't nearly as easy. They tend to scream and argue a lot, but never stay mad for long. It took a lot of work to establish the relationship and just as much to maintain it, but neither really notices. They fit, even if it's a little jagged, and have established an odd sort of trust in each other. The L-word is thrown around often and even though they disagree on many things, their arguments are rarely malicious and they have never become physically aggressive.
Maximilian (Max) & Derek/Erik
The twins met Max numerous times through drag clubs and found him incredibly appealing. They aren't stupid, however. They knew the only way to get Max into a relationship with them was to start things off physical then ease him in to something romantic. So, that's exactly what they did. It took months of work, but eventually they got their desired status as "boyfriends." The relationship is kind of rocky, but they make it work. Anything to keep Max all to themselves.
Baltimore & Achilles
The two were introduced via their parents, who wanted them to make friends with other rich families. They didn't count on the two hitting it off so spectacularly though. Achilles asked for Baltimore's hand in marriage in less than a year and the meeker man happily agreed. Though the relationship confuses everyone else, the two just click. They barely argue and have a respect for one another that's rarely found in such relationships.
Noah & Aerun
Aerun loves one thing; jewelry. Noah loves two things; money and Aerun. He parts with a great deal of his money in order to make Aerun happy, however. As long as Aerun's happy, Noah gets praise and sex. He desperately wants the relationship to be more, but it's difficult to convince Aerun that love exists and that he would never hurt him.
Theodore (Theo) & Michael
Theo loves danger and getting into trouble, which was what led him to Noah's gang and to Michael. The two hit it off quickly enough and their fellow gang members took to calling Theo Michael's "baby mama" as a joke. The two work oddly well together; both are tough and don't take shit from anyone. Michael is the more calm and forgiving of the two, whereas Theo is always in a hyper mood and tends to be really spiteful and holds a grudge forever.
Ulises & Thomas
They met through Theo and Michael and hit it off just as quickly, much to Michael's displeasure. Thomas tends to be shy and jumpy and would much rather be studying, but Ulises often talks him into going out with him or bending the rules slightly. He's very protective of Thomas though, so he'd never let his own disregard for safety affect Thomas's.
Jet & Alexandria/Terrence (Alex/Terri)
After a bank heist, the twins snuck into the back of Jet's van and attempted to swindle him out of the stolen dough. Instead, he recruited them into the gang. They attached themselves to him pretty quickly, which he was more than happy about. They ended up in his bed after a night of heavy drinking, which they swore to never do again, and made him swear to keep their true genders a secret. He agreed on the condition that they attempt a real relationship, which he'd been desiring for some time. They agreed and formed a surprisingly stable relationship.
Ashton & Curtis
After being thrown into the insane asylum on mistake, Ashton met his less-than-sane roommate, Curtis. Though he was terrified of the effeminate man at first, the two managed to become friends. He eventually realized that Curtis was much more coherent than he acted and he slowly began to fall for him. After getting out once the mistake was caught, he visited Curtis daily and was eventually able to take him into his custody and out of the asylum to live with him.
Mortimer (Morty) & Chris
Met in college, where they were both music majors. They're a bit of an odd pair, mostly because Morty is almost beastly large while Chris is much smaller and completely blind. They because good friends quickly because Chris wasn't frightened of Morty's appearance like everyone else. A relationship bloomed within a few months, to no one's surprise.
Chester & Draco
Chester will never admit to it, but he loves the environment. Which is what led to him cleaning up a local beach and accidentally finding much more than he bargained for; a blue man caught in a net. Draco, a Storm Kelpy or Blue Man of the Minch, was far, far from home thanks to becoming tangled in some netting. Though slightly hostile at first, Draco was too curious to stay away from Chester when he came back. They swapped stories and talked about their respective cultures whenever Chester could make it to the beach. Though their relationship is a little unorthodox, neither really gives a damn.
Duane & Anthony
Anthony loved, more than anything, human culture. He collected relics, studied them on the beach, and liked to bribe birds into telling him everything they knew. Duane couldn't stand humans, but was completely willing to put up with hearing all about them for a chance at courting the smaller merman. It took months, during which he found that human culture wasn't so bad, but eventually he was able to win Anthony's affections. He considers it his greatest achievement.
