Pokemon

Setting:

The Four Islands:
Made up of four islands connected via thin stripes of land that disappear during high tides. Each island is inhabited by different types of gijinka pokemon. The four islands are Dreary, Cloud, Thunder and Green.

Dreary Island:
Inhabited by mostly dark, ghost, fire, ground and steel pokemon. The second smallest of the islands. Mostly covered in dead forest, some mountains and many caves. The Doom pack rules over this island.

Cloud Island:
Inhabited by mostly flying, normal, water, ice and dragon pokemon. The largest of the four islands. The waters around this island are shallow with plenty of reefs. A large portion of the island is grassland. Part of the island is one very large plateau that is high enough to touch low clouds.

Thunder Island:
Inhabited by mostly electric, physic, fighting and rock pokemon. Slightly larger than Dreary Island. Mostly made up of mountains and forests. The Thunder Fang pack rules over this island.

Green Island:
Inhabited by mostly bug, poison and grass pokemon. The smallest of the islands. It is completely flat and covered in lush forests and grasslands.

50 Words - HectorxCedric

1. Love
The people in white coats had told him he was crazy. They said he couldn't feel things like love, empathy, sympathy or even attachment to another person. Said he was too crazy. They were wrong.

2. Hate
The only thing Hector hated more than being locked up was tanks.

3. Rain
Unlike most people, rain actually cheered Cedric up. He liked to sit out in it and listen to it hit the ground around him; a very soothing noise.

4. Fear
Hector never liked the fact that he couldn't be the strong, fearless protector that Cedric deserved.

5. Empty
Contrary to popular belief, Hector's mind was far from empty. In reality, it was often filled with absurd and ludicrous thoughts or ideas, most of which went vastly ignored in favor of the ones involving Cedric and how to make him smile.

6. Fall
Hector felt a little bit like a superhero when he tripped and fell off a three story building, hitting the ground face first then getting up unharmed.

7. Open
Cedric often opened up and talked about his life before the infection. Hector liked to listen to the stories, but rarely ever opened up about his own life since most of it would probably just upset the younger boy anyway.

8. Hope
Sometimes Cedric hoped he would wake up and find that this was all just a bad dream. He could get out of bed and have breakfast with his parents, hang out with his friends, finish his last year of high school and go on to college and be something. But he swore to himself that if, by some miracle, it did turn out to be a bad dream, the first thing he would do after breakfast was visit the Pine View Insane Asylum to find out if Hector was real or the best part of the worst dream he'd ever had.

9. Death
They often wondered about where they would go when they died. Heaven? No. Hell? More likely. Limbo? Plausible. Emptiness? A possibility. They didn't know where they would go, but they prayed they would be there together.

10. Close
At times when Cedric would cry the hardest, Hector would hold him as close as possible and whisper comforting words in the smooth, calming voice he'd previously used to lure victims into his home.

11. Climb
Hector found that climbing things was significantly easier now that his arms were free of the straitjacket's confinement.

12. Fire
Seemed like everywhere they traveled, something was consumed by a small fire. Cedric often mused that, if not put out, those small random fires would probably grow and with time spread across the land, burning everything.

13. Pain
Their first time together had been painful. Cedric hadn't shared the experience with anyone before Hector and would often claw his new lover on accident. Hector had a difficult time controlling his natural urge to hurt the thing writhing beneath him and bit the small body more than once.

14. Pleasure
It wasn't until their fifth time together that Cedric figured out how to move his hands without cutting his dominant and Hector gained control over his urge to maim the smaller boy. They both found that it was much easier to concentrate on the pleasure without having to worry about the pain.

15. Smile
Sometimes Hector did things that put a smile on Cedric's face. Those times made Hector proud of himself.

16. Cry
Cedric cried often. This was often from a mix of the emotional pain of having lost everyone precious to him and the knowledge that the world was basically ending.

17. Toy
Hector mused that if he had escaped the asylum before the outbreak, or perhaps was never caught to begin with, and met Cedric, the boy would have ended up becoming another one of his toys to use and abuse until nothing was left. In that sick way he was thankful for what had happened.

18. Happy
"Why do you cry? Do I make you cry? I'm sorry I make you cry..." Hector said all in one breath, not waiting for an answer to either question. Cedric sniffled and gave a small smile, "I cry because I miss my family. You don't make me cry. You make me happy."
"Really? That makes me happy." Hector said with an odd grin that would have been frightening to anyone but Cedric, who giggled and gave his boyfriend a sweet peck on the cheek.

19. Scar
Hector often left his shirt on even when they got intimate. This was to prevent Cedric from seeing the scars left from his victims' failed attempts at escaping.

20. Angel
Cedric was an angel and Hector wanted to believe that when the boy passed away he would go to a better place than himself.

21. Song
Hector's favorite song was the one Cedric would sometimes sing to him at night when his paranoia would spiral and he could relax no other way.

22. Chain
Now that he was outside of the asylum, the chain broken, Hector was free to do as he pleased. He could maim, torture and kill whomever he wanted. He soon realized, however, that the little Witch he stumbled across was infinitely more pleasing to him than any amount of gore would ever be.

23. Dance
"I love this song..." Cedric whispered as his body began to sway to and fro to the tune coming from the old radio Hector had found. The madman watched in amusement as his love moved to the slow rhythm. The Witch held out a hand, "Dance with me?" He asked the Screamer in his sweetest voice. Hector couldn't say no.

24. Night
Hector didn't care for the night. There was no telling what sorts a beasts lurked in the darkness, watching, waiting, planning. His mind often invented it's own sights and sounds to keep him alert and unable to sleep.

25. Day
The days were often dimmed by smoke and haze and didn't provide much light. Still, Hector was thankful for its arrival.

26. Fool
Only a fool took on a tank. Hector was no fool. But, when one came charging at them, seemingly hell bent on hurting one or both, the fear of the possibility of Cedric being hurt or killed by the massive monstrosity turned the Screamer into the biggest fool he'd ever been.

27. Whisper
Cedric's voice often either came out as a wail or a whisper. When he whispered, Hector's heightened hearing always picked up every word.

28. Shout
Hector rarely realized when he was shouting. His twisted mind often played tricks on him, leaving him unaware of some of his actions.

29. Paralyzed
The tank seemed stunned after Hector let out an ear shattering scream at him. He stood there a moment, paralyzed and confused, until the horde suddenly gathered around him. Hector and Cedric used the chaos to make a quick escape.

30. Break
As Cedric let out another painful sob, Hector held him tightly and silently vowed to never break, if only for the Witch's sake.

31. Stuck
With the world turned to chaos, Cedric and Hector were no longer stuck in their usual menial lives. They were free to roam and go where ever they wanted, see what they wanted to see, even if most everything was burning.

32. Habit
Hector had a habit of talking to himself. He never noticed he was doing it until Cedric would point it out, leaving the Screamer a little embarrassed each time.

33. Listen
No sound went undetected by Hector's ears. If there was one thing he was good at, it was listening.

34. Numb
With most of the sun's ray blocked from the city, the average temperature dropped within a week. The night Cedric's legs went numb from the cold they both realized that they could no longer stay there and left as quickly as possible, Hector having to carry the blanket-wrapped Witch.

35. Shadow
Hector would never EVER admit to the fact that he'd been scared by his own shadow on more than one occasion.

36. Wake
Hector didn't sleep often. He preferred to sit and keep watch around them. I was worth it, however, to see Cedric wake up each morning.

37. Blood
Cedric had never liked the sight of blood. Now, unfortunately, blood was a common sight, forcing the Witch to come to terms with his slight fear.

38. Valentine
"It's Valentine's Day, ya know." Hector said matter-of-factly. Cedric looked at him, slightly surprised, "Really?"
Hector nodded, looking solemn, "I was gonna get you something, but... ya know." He said with a shrug. Cedric smiled, "That's okay. I'm just glad you said something."

39. Pieces
Cedric cried out as a sick man bit into his arm. He kicked him and yanked his arm free, tearing his shirt and the skin around the bite to pieces. Not waiting for him to recover, Cedric turned and ran. What was happening with the world?

40. Lullaby
Hector stayed completely silent as he watched Cedric gently rock the baby they'd found. He sang it a soft lullaby as they waited for Kaden and Douglas to find the mother, who, sadly, had more than likely been turned.

41. Crush
Cedric watched as Hector wandered around the small yard, picking up sticks and placing them in a pile to make a fire. He wondered to himself why he had a crush on a man who was obviously crazy and at least ten years older than himself. Then, Hector came running up to him, stopping just in front of him and presenting a half-dead flower with a huge grin on his face. Cedric smiled, carefully taking the flower and remembering why he'd taken a liking to the Screamer in the first place.

42. Curse
They'd said his existence was a curse to humanity. Maybe they were right; the world was coming to an end after all. Had it been Hector's fault somehow? Possibly, but he wasn't going to tell Cedric that.

43. Moon
The moon's bright glow easily illuminated the country side, making it easy for Hector to watch for wandering threats while Cedric slept soundly.

44. Sun
The sun was bright and harsh as it beat down on them. "This was a terrible idea..." Cedric whimpered, "It's hot and dusty and there's no shade for miles..."
Hector could barely nod as they continued down the dusty country road, nothing but farmland all around them.

45. Belong
"You're right where you belong." The man in the white coat said, giving Hector a disgusted look and slamming the padded door. Hector cackled maniacally, leaning back against a padded wall and tugging lightly at his straitjacket.

46. Friend
Hector hadn't had a friend since he was ten, when his best friend, a blonde boy named Timothy, was killed in a car wreck, which would later trigger his need to murder young blonde boys. Now, he found himself sitting around a small fire with three other people that he could call friends.

47. Frozen
As Winter rolled around and the temperature dropped far below freezing, the group found themselves sliding along the ice of a frozen pond, Cedric and Douglas making etchings in the ice with claws while Hector and Kaden tried to make each other slip.

48. Heat
Hector didn't care much for heat, the only exception being the heat he and Cedric created in the bedroom.

49. Lies
Every time Cedric asked about his past, a variety of smooth lies came flowing off Hector's tongue about how he'd lived, what he'd done for a living and how he'd gotten into the asylum in the first place.

50. Truth
"Please, just tell me the truth." Cedric said one day, eyes pleading, "I know you've been lying about a lot, and I won't ask you to fess up about all of it, but just tell me... How many people did you hurt?"
Hector couldn't bring himself to lie to that face and he didn't miss the look of shock and fear when he said, "Fourteen."

60 Words - Alucard/Flow

1. Love
Alucard was not keen to human emotions. Feelings such as love were a mystery to him. He knew, however, that whatever it was he felt toward Flow could only be described as love.

2. Hate
"I hate you." Flow said darkly, a violent glare on his slightly-freckled face. "It's a toaster, love." Alucard spoke up from his chair at the kitchen table, "It can't hear you, nor can it comprehend that it has burnt your toast."
"I know, but I still hate it."

3. Rain
If there was one thing Alucard couldn't stand, it was the wet dog smell that emanated from Flow when he came bouncing into the house after playing in the rain.

4. Fear
Alucard was not a fearful being. It took a lot to get a reaction from him. His most recent brush with fear occurred when he watched a brown haired boy fall to the ground, screaming in agony as blood seeped from a wound made by a silver bullet.

5. Empty
When they had first met, the young werewolf's eyes had been so empty. It was only after Alucard transformed him into the werewolf/vampire hybrid he now was and renamed him 'Flow' that he brightened significantly.

6. Fall
Flow really hated how cats could land on all fours after a fall.

7. Open
It was difficult to get Alucard to open up about things, but Flow found that if you stole one of his books, hid it and threatened to tear it apart later, he'd tell you anything you wanted to know.

8. Hope
His life had been bleak, empty and hopeless. Then he met Alucard, nearly died and was saved by the old vampire. Then, suddenly, Flow's "life" had meaning again.

9. Death
Flow had come close to death many times, but the mere thought of it still terrified him.

10. Close
Alucard didn't like being close to anyone, emotionally or physically, but had to make an exception for the lovable werewolf.

11. Climb
"Climb it? Climb it?! I don't need to freaking climb it! I can jump it!" Flow shouted triumphantly, shifting into his wolf form and getting ready to jump the large wall which, Alucard knew, had a small river beyond it. Alucard smirked, "I'm going to enjoy this."

12. Fire
Alucard loved to watch the fire burn in his fireplace in the large living room. It was even better when Flow came and curled up at his feet in front of it.

13. Pain
For the most part, Flow had only known pain in his life before Alucard.

14. Pleasure
One of Flow's greatest pleasures was when Alucard would scratch him just behind the ears in his wolf form.

15. Smile
Alucard often kept the same blank expression, so Flow took it upon himself to smile enough for the both of them.

16. Cry
The few times when Flow did cry, usually from the horrible emotional pain old memories brought on, the violent sobs would rack his entire body and Alucard would hold him close, the noise making his lifeless heart hurt.

17. Toy
Flow liked variety, so it came as no surprise to Alucard when he found a small stash of adult toys hidden in the closet.

18. Happy
"For what reason are you so damn happy all of the time?" Alucard asked out of the blue one day as they were walking to the library. Flow turned to him and smiled, "There's a lot to be happy about. I'm existing, I have you, it's a nice day, and plenty of other things."
A ghost of a grin made it's way to Alucard's face, "I suppose that's logical."

19. Scar
The long scar across Flow's back only served to remind Alucard of the horrible state he'd found the boy in.

20. Angel
Alucard sometimes thought that, if he had not taken Flow's soul when he changed him, the boy would have eventually become an angel.

21. Song
Alucard wasn't big on music, but his favorite song was the one Flow would hum while in the shower.

22. Chain
The horrible memories of his life were chained to his mind and no matter how hard he tried, Flow would never find the key.

23. Dance
"Do you have two left feet or something?" Alucard asked grumpily as he tried, for the fourth time, to teach Flow how to dance. Flow pouted, "You seem to forget that I spent the first nineteen years of my life in the street just trying to survive. Dancing is not a skill required to survive!"

24. Night
Alucard's hair was black as the night and he always kept it short, neat and clean.

25. Day
Flow always liked the day. Before meeting Alucard, day had meant that he'd managed to survive another night.

26. Fool
Though some might think Flow a fool, Alucard knew he was probably one of the smartest people alive, even if those smarts weren't learned from any book.

27. Whisper
Flow liked to be loud, but in the darkness of the bedroom, his voice would fall to a whisper as he told his lover just how much he liked what he was doing down there.

28. Shout
Whether he was shouting, whispering, yelling in anger or laughing with joy, Alucard loved the sound of Flow's voice.

29. Paralyzed
Alucard had become paralyzed when he watched the wolf boy fall, changing for the first time Alucard had seen to his human form and screaming in agony as the silver bullet that had ripped though his body burned him from the inside. Alucard forced his fear away and fell to his knees next to the writhing boy, gently lifting his upper body and turning his head before saving him the only way he knew how; biting into his neck.

30. Break
There were some places in his mind where Flow was still broken, but Alucard was doing a pretty good job of fixing him.

31. Stuck
"Alucard?! Alucard! Help me! I'm stuck!" Flow shouted as he banged on the door. Alucard walked into the hallway and stopped at a closed door, expression slightly annoyed, "What are you doing?"
"I accidentally locked myself in the bathroom! Get me out!"
Alucard sighed, "Have you tried turning that small knob on the door handle?"
There was a pause in which a small 'click' was heard, then the door opened. Flow stepped out, face bright red, "Never breathe a word of this to anyone."

32. Habit
Flow had a habit of burying things in the yard. This greatly annoyed Alucard as it left many unsightly holes that would need to be filled and re-landscaped.

33. Listen
Flow had always been a good listener. For most of his life he did not speak, only listened. It took about a year after being changed before he began to talk regularly, eventually talking almost all the time, as if to make up for all the years of silence, and Alucard always listened.

34. Numb
As he felt himself going numb and his vision flickered, Alucard barely saw the large, brown wolf drag up a near-dead man and lay it in his lap. He found it odd that a werewolf, a vampire's greatest enemy, was trying to save his life.

35. Shadow
The werewolf that had saved him followed him in the shadows for many weeks. Alucard was not afraid, however, as he could tell that all the beast wanted was a little company.

36. Wake
Moments after waking up, a man probably in his late twenty's with dark black hair leaned over him. "Do you have a name?" He asked. The young werewolf shook his head. He had never been given a name. The vampire, as he knew the man was by his scent and the fact that he'd been following him, tilted his head, "You're a wolf, so I'll call you Flow."

37. Blood
The sight of blood never bothered Alucard, hell he drank it to survive. The sight of Flow's blood, however, often sent him into a mild panic.

38. Valentine
Instead of candy for that special day, Alucard and Flow would trade fresh human hearts.

39. Pieces
Flow was like broken glass and Alucard was slowly putting the pieces back together again.

40. Lullaby
Though Alucard had no real need for sleep, Flow sometimes did, so Alucard would sing him a lullaby, the same one his mother had sung to him as a child so many years ago, until the young man would fall asleep.

41. Crush
In the beginning, Flow had hated himself for having a crush on a man over 300 years older than himself. When this fact slipped past his lips on accident one day, Flow was elated when Alucard suddenly yanked him forward into a bruising and claiming kiss.

42. Curse
Flow did not consider himself cursed. Getting to spend an eternity with the only person who had ever mattered to him could not possibly be a curse.

43. Moon
Nothing actually compelled him to howl at the full moon, Flow just did because he knew it got on Alucard's nerves.

44. Sun
"Why don't you ever go out in the sunlight?" Flow asked one day, voice a near whisper as he leaned closer to Alucard over the arm of his cushioned chair by the fire place. Alucard put his book down and gave him an odd look, "Because I'm a vampire."
"Is it because you sparkle?"
"What? That's absurd. I burn, not sparkle."
"Okay. Just making sure." Flow said with a smile before getting on the floor and crawling away on all fours. Alucard watched him go with an odd expression, "I really should start paying attention to whatever it is he's been watching."

45. Belong
As a werewolf he had not belonged anywhere. He'd wandered the streets, just trying to survive from day to day. As a werewolf/vampire hybrid, possibly the only one in existence, Flow knew he belonged right by Alucard's side.

46. Friend
"You're the first friend I've ever had." Flow said one day when they were in the study. Alucard looked up from his book, a thoughtful expression on his face. Flow continued, "You're also my first lover and the first person to ever really care about me."
Alucard sat his book by his side and patted his lap. Flow smiled and sat down, happily leaning against the vampire. Alucard wrapped his arms around the small but muscled body and ran a hand through shoulder length, wavy brown hair, "You're my whole world."

47. Frozen
More than a hundred years had passed since they were united. Neither had changed, both frozen in time, and Flow was loving every second of it.

48. Heat
Flow was more werewolf than vampire, so it really shouldn't have surprised Alucard as much as it did how much heat the boy created.

49. Lies
Alucard knew very well that Flow had a terrible temper and that it didn't take much to set the boy off, which is why he wasn't very surprised when one morning, while reading the paper, he casually announced which football team had won and Flow angrily jumped from his seat and screamed, "LIES!!"

50. Truth
Alucard was a deceitful man. He had to be to keep from being discovered as a vampire. He found that lying came easy to him and the truth was something that could be twisted to fit his needs. He also found that Flow was the one person he could never deceive.

51. Water
Flow greatly enjoyed playing in the water. Alucard hated water unless it was coming out of a faucet. In order to keep both himself and his love happy, Alucard finally relented and bought a pool.

52. Fly
"Can you change into a bat and fly?" Flow asked curiously after watching a recent vampire horror movie. Alucard let out a snort, "Not without the use of my magic, which takes a lot out of me and is therefore not worth it."
"Could you make me fly?"
"Definitely not worth it."

53. Coffin
Flow didn't like it when Alucard would sometimes lay in his coffin. Laying there, pale and unmoving, gave the illusion of death and Flow's mental state wasn't stable enough to handle the sight for long.

54. Cheat
Flow watched the vampire on the black and white TV lure a young woman into his home. "Alucard? Did you ever do that with a woman?"
"Once or twice within the first hundred years, but it wasn't really my forte."
"Would you do it now?"
"Of course not. I love you and that would be much too similar to cheating."
"Good. Because I'd have to hurt you."
"Yes love, I know."

55. Laugh
Before Flow opened up and began talking, the only sound that Alucard could ever pull from his throat was a laugh. It quickly became Alucard's favorite sound.

56. Bed
Their bed was large and comfortable. Flow hated being in it by himself because it felt empty, but with Alucard laying beside him it was the only place he really wanted to be.

57. Comfort
There were moments when Flow's skin would feel as though bugs were crawling beneath it and he would claw and scratch until he bled. He never knew what caused the sensation, but when his mate would embrace him and whisper comforting words, the tingling would stop and Flow could relax.

58. Past
Alucard's past had been nothing special. He'd been an average man who just happened to have been bitten by a vampire. Flow's past was much rougher. Though he never opened up about it, Alucard knew from the times when his love would wake up screaming from another nightmare that it must have been terrible.

A Glimpse Into the Life of Derek Blair

Summary: A few short looks into the life of Derek Blair and his relationship with Yin and Yang.

Warnings: Lemon, slash.
--
Derek Blair's life was far from average. He played the electric guitar and was one of three vocalists in a popular band, was considered by many to be "hot" and was the kind of guy any parent would love for their daughter to date. Girls, young and old, screamed when he walked onto stage and after shows he was always bombarded with screaming fans demanding autographs from the attractive blonde man.

Yet he stayed himself and never let any of this go to his head. He didn't get into drugs and only drank at parties, rarely ever getting very drunk. He liked to flirt with men and women alike and no one ever thought he would settle for one.

But he did.

A man almost five years younger than himself, hair naturally black on the left side of his head and naturally white on the right, left eye blue and right eye yellow, who seemed to be bipolar and talked to himself often.

They met at a party where the boy had introduced himself as Yin, saying his other, meaner, half was Yang.

They dated for a month before Derek finally realized that he wasn't joking; the man was indeed two different people in one body.

It was the little things that made him realize this. Yin was left handed, Yang was right handed. Yin liked to talk about anything and everything, Yang liked to read books or do puzzles in silence. Yin was friendly and liked to be held, Yang didn't seem to like anyone, especially Derek, and hated to be touched. Yin smiled, Yang glared.

Derek didn't actually see much of Yang. Yin later confided in him that Yang did not approve of their relationship and therefore didn't want anything to do with Derek. In fact, Yang seemed to disapprove of any relationship Yin was in, so he was often alone.

Even though he found it odd, Derek couldn't bring himself to leave just because he was technically dating two people, even if one hated him.

Four months later Yang finally relented and they moved in with Derek.
--
Derek Blair's life was far from routine. His mornings could start one of two ways; he would either be woken by a gentle kiss and a loving smile, followed shortly by a soft voice offering to go make breakfast, or by being suddenly shoved from the bed and meeting a hard floor, followed shortly by a low growl demanding breakfast.

Lunch was whatever Yin decided to cook up for them and if Yang was in a bad mood then Derek was stuck eating alone in his studio. Dinner was always something different, whether they say down and ate together or went out for something nice.

Sometimes they showered together, sometimes they didn't. The TV was almost always on and on many nights they sat in front of it together. When it came time to sleep they laid side by side.
--
Derek Blair's life was far from simple. On the day of his and his boyfriends' first anniversary, which he had prepared for for over a week, he woke himself up long before his significant other and gave him a gentle kiss before getting out of bed silently so as not to wake him.

He sneaked down into the basement and grabbed the banner he'd made to hang from the kitchen entryway. It read "Happy Anniversary" in black letters on a white background with Yin Yang symbols in the four corners. He carried it up the stairs and hung it up above the kitchen entrance where Yin and Yang would see it when they woke up and came downstairs.

Once that was done, he grabbed a small black box that contained a simple silver ring. It wasn't really a wedding ring, since he was sure Yang would have no part of that, it was more like a promise ring. He had bought himself one as well.

He put it in his pocket for later and went into the kitchen to prepare breakfast. He knew both Yin and Yang liked cinnamon toast and syrup so he decided that would be a good start. He added blueberry pancakes and orange juice to the menu, decided against milk since Yin and Yang got sick if they drank it in the mornings.

Once it was all prepared and set up, he went back up stairs, knowing they would wake up any minute, and climbed back in bed, feigning sleep.

Within minutes, the body next to him shifted and sat up. Derek stayed silent, waiting for Yin or Yang to "wake him up" like usual.

"Oi, shit head. Get up." A voice, rough with sleep, demanded. Derek figured Yang must have remembered their anniversary, which was why he hadn't shoved him in the floor like usual.

"Morning beautiful." Derek commented as he stretched and sat up, giving his boyfriend a smile. Yang glared, "You're pushing it." He snapped. Derek noticed for the first time that the blue eye wasn't open, meaning Yin was unaware of their conversation.

The only way Yin or Yang could have any privacy from one another was by closing the other eye. If the blue eye was closed, Yin could not see what Yang was doing or take control of the body. If the yellow eye was closed, Yang could not see or take control. The two could only switch control or know what was going on when the other was in control if both eyes were open or closed.

"Yin still asleep?" Derek asked, a little nervous about being alone with Yang.

"You have about two minutes to come up with something for your anniversary, or I'm going to hurt you." Yang dead panned.

"Don't you mean our anniversary?" Derek said, attempting a little humor. Yang glared, "No. If you've forgotten Yin's anniversary-"

"I haven't, I haven't. I've got it all covered, I promise." Derek said with a roll of his eyes. Yang gave another harsh glare before opening the other eye. Yin took over immediately, smiling and wrapping his arms around his boyfriend, "Good morning Derek."

"Morning love. Why don't we go get some breakfast?"

"Alright." Yin smiled and hopped off the bed. He walked out of the room, Derek following close behind, and headed downstairs toward the kitchen.

When he saw the banner over the entry, Yin let out a small squeal and threw his arms around Derek in a tight embrace that was quickly returned, "You remembered!"

"Of course love. I made you breakfast too, so lets eat."

Yin let go and ran into the kitchen, happily taking a seat at his normal spot. In front of him was his favorite breakfast; Cinnamon toast and blueberry pancakes with syrup and orange juice. He smiled brightly and grabbed his fork, taking a bite of pancake first.

Derek smiled at his success and sat down across from his boyfriend.

Yin's movements suddenly slowed, his demeanor hardening. Derek frowned in annoyance as a blue eye slid shut and his stared into Yang's single yellow eye. "I'd hoped you could do better than this. A pretty sign and breakfast that doesn't taste like your usual shit isn't exactly what I'd call romantic."

"I have more you know. I've been planning this for over a week." Derek stabbed his fork into a pancake and brought it to his mouth.

"That's it? Yin's been excited about this for over a month. You'd better not fall short." Yang took a sip of orange juice and grabbed the toast.

"Yeah yeah, or you'll hurt me, I know.

"Actually, I took the portable hard drive in your computer."

Derek's eyes widened, "What?! That has all my work on it!"

"You'll get it back. Maybe." With that, the blue eye opened up and a worried look crossed that lovely face, "Yang wasn't being mean, was he?"

Derek sighed. As much as he wanted to, he couldn't tattle. Yang would give him hell for it later. "No, he was just saying that you had been looking forward to this for a long time, so I'd best have something amazing up my sleeve."

Yin gave a reassuring smile, "Don't worry about it. I'm just glad you remembered." His face suddenly fell, a bored look taking over, "He's lying." Yang dead panned. His face changed again, a blush lighting up his features along with wide eyes, "Shut up Yang!" Yin scolded his other half, quickly stuffing a large piece of toast into his mouth to prevent any further argument.

Derek chuckled, "Don't worry, I have plenty for us to do today."

They finished breakfast with some idle chat and got dressed. Derek switched the ring from his pajama pants to his jean pocket.

"What're we gonna do?" Yin asked curiously as Derek led him out to his car.

"What ever you wanna do. I was thinking the museum. You both like that, right?"

Yin smiled, closing the yellow eye, "Yeah, Yang loves it there. Trying to get on his good side?"

"You are his good side."

"You know what I meant." Yin said with a humorous roll of his eye.

Derek chuckled as he opened the passenger door, "I've been trying for a year with no luck, but I figure he's got to give into my charms eventually."

Yin quickly took a seat and Derek shut the door, heading to his own side and getting in. Yin opened his other eye and Yang quickly took over, "What were you two talking about?"

"How adorable you are." Derek stated as he started the car. Yang shot him a nasty look and gave control back to Yin.

The Museum of Natural History wasn't far from their home and they arrived within twenty minutes. Yang took over and led them through the building to look at different exhibits. Derek asked questions about different creatures that he knew Yang would know the answers to and Yang would give him a short explanation about everything.

Derek liked it when Yang was like this. Calm and at ease, willing to converse with him and be civil rather than constantly throwing insults at him.

They stopped at a large exhibit featuring several small dinosaurs. A voice coming from a box in some bushes explained their lifestyle and breeding habits.

Yang leaned against a rail and looked over the scene with mild interest. Derek leaned beside him, "Can we talk? In private?"

Yang shut the blue eye, "What do you want?"

"You realize that this isn't really a temporary relationship, right? I want to stay with you both and you're making it really difficult to do that. I understand if you don't like me, but it seems like it's a little unfair to Yin that-"

"I don't take a breath without considering how it will affect Yin." Yang interrupted, "I want to smoke and drink and go out and do dangerous things that will get me in trouble, but I don't. I can't. This is Yin's body, not mine. I'm sure you think me selfish, but I'm not. I've given up everything to make him happy and I'd like it if you wouldn't lecture me over things you can't possibly understand." Yang said in a dangerously low and even voice. Derek was more than a little shocked at the confession. "I'm sorry," He said after a pause, "I had no idea..."

"And neither does Yin, so keep your mouth shut."

"Of course."

They fell into silence.

After several tense seconds, Yang spoke up, "In all honesty, I didn't think you'd last this long." He and Derek made eye contact, "I'm not easy to get along with, so why would I ease up on you? I figured if you were worth anything for Yin, you'd stick around even through my abuse, but I honestly never expected you to actually stay. I suppose I could go a little easier on you now."

Derek grinned, "That would be really nice of you."

Yang shrugged, looking back at the exhibit, "Yeah whatever. Just don't start assuming I'm going to be nice now. I'm just not going to go out of my way to find a way to upset you."

"Thanks. I appreciate it."

Yang opened the blue eye and they continued through the museum.

The whole thing only took about three hours to go through. After they left, Yin took control and led Derek across the street to the Zoo.

"It's a nice day, isn't it?" Yin commented as they fed the ducks at a small pond just inside the gate.

"Yeah." Derek agreed, watching Yin toss crackers into the water with a smile.

"Yang's pretty impressed that you made it a whole year. So am I, actually. I know he can be pretty harsh."

"Yeah, but it's worth it." Derek said with a smile, reaching out to twine his and Yin's fingers. Yin smiled, closing the yellow eye, "He likes you, really, but don't tell him I said that."

"I won't. Promise."

The yellow eye opened back up and they moved away from the pond toward other cages. They saw Savannah animals first, then went into the pachyderm building before stopping at a small cafe for lunch.

After some lemonade and sandwiches they saw the wolves, Yang's personal favorite, and the big cats. Then they went through a barn where the nocturnal animals, including bats, rodents and some owls, were housed. Yin stayed and watched the Barn Owls, his favorite, for several minutes before Yang had to take over and walk out.

They saw birds, reptiles, amphibians and other animals before finally leaving.

They crossed the street and got back into Derek's car.

"I have reservations at a restaurant at nine. We have a little over three hours to kill. What do you wanna do?"

"Movie?" Yin asked enthusiastically. Derek gave a quick nod, "Sounds great." He pulled out of the parking lot and headed for the theater.

"What would you like to see?" Derek asked as they turned into the parking lot.

"I was thinking Eclipse. I know, I know, lame, but I like the action." Yin said with an embarrassed grin. Derek chuckled, "It's fine, but you'll have to forgive me if I have no idea what's going on. I didn't see the first two."

"Oh, we don't have to see it. Yang and I can come back to see it later."

"No, no, it's fine. Maybe I could rent the first two so I understand what's going on when we go see the fourth together."

Yin's eyes lit up, "Really? You're so sweet!" He leaned over and gave his boyfriend and quick kiss on the cheek.

They found a space and parked. Derek led them inside the huge theater and bought two tickets for Eclipse. Yin kept the tickets in his pocket as Derek bought them each a small soda.

They found decent seats in the theater, having gotten there a little earlier than the crowd.

"So, did you see the first two in the theater too?"

"Yeah. We didn't want to, but some friends invited us to go the first one it with them, so I agreed. I know it's dorky, but I enjoyed it so we decided to see it through until the last movie. It's sort of like a guilty pleasure." Yin said, embarrassed grin covering his face again.

"It's good that you don't lie to yourself though. Even though these movies catch a lot of shit from people who don't like them, you still go see it."

"I don't believe in lying to yourself." Yang said, "I like the movie and I wanna see it. Who gives a fuck what anyone else thinks?"

"Agreed."

"Are you going to see the rest with us after this one?" Yang inquired, giving Derek a sideways glance. Derek took a sip of soda before answering, "Sure. I'd love to be able to share this with you."

Yang gave a small nod as the theater darkened, the seats now full, and the curtains opened to reveal a large, blank screen.

"I love previews." Derek commented. Yang nodded in agreement, "Me too."

Throughout the movie Derek would periodically lean over and ask a question about who someone was or why someone was doing what they were doing. He always received an answer.

After the movie ended they sat and talked about it while they waited for the theater to clear out.

"I think Bella should have gotten together with Jacob, honestly. He's much cuter. But no, she had to go with Mr. Pale and Thin." Yin said sarcastically as they stood and walked out. Derek chuckled, "Maybe some people like pale and thin."

"True." Yin said. Yang took over, "But can he even get it up? He's deathly pale and cold, so he must be dead, meaning blood shouldn't flow so he shouldn't be able to get an erection."

"It's a movie."

"I know, but still. I wouldn't date someone who couldn't get a boner."

Derek grinned and leaned a little closer as they walked, "Aren't you glad you're dating me then?"

Yang stopped and gave him an odd look. Derek stopped as well, grin not wavering.

Yang looked him over and frowned, "I suppose you're better than other people Yin has taken interest in." He continued walking, dropping the empty soda container in a trash bin.

"I'll accept that." Derek said as he copied Yang.

They walked outside to Derek's car and climbed in. "Where do you have reservations?" Yang asked.

"You'll just have to wait and see." The blonde man said with a smile as he drove through the parking lot.

"Yang?" Derek inquired as he pulled out onto the highway, "Can we talk again?"

Yang sighed through his nose and closed the blue eye, having to turn to face Derek because of the loss of vision on that side, "What now?"

"I have a surprise for you guys at the restaurant and I don't want you to get totally pissed, so I was just warning you now."

Yang glared, "What is it?"

"I can't tell you, that would ruin the surprise."

"Then how am I supposed to know if I'm going to get angry?"

"You're not. I was just saying; don't get mad before you hear me out. Okay?"

"No promises. If you do something stupid, I'll hurt you."

"I know, I know." Derek said as he pulled into a parking lot. Yang looked at the sign and grinned to himself, "Red Lobster, huh?"

"You like sea food, it's expensive and has good atmosphere. I know it's not the most romantic place ever, but you gotta give me points for trying."

"Hn." Yang made a noise in agreement and let Yin take over. Yin looked around, confused, before realizing where they were. "I love Red Lobster!" He cheered, giving Derek a bright smile. Derek returned it and pulled into a parking space. He quickly shut off the vehicle and jumped out, running to the other side to open the passenger door for his boyfriend.

Yin gave him another smile as he got out.

They walked in together and up to the register. "I have a reservation for two under 'Blair.'" Derek said, giving the young lady a charming smile. "Right this way sir." She said, returning the smile.

She led them to a booth in a corner, slightly more secluded than the other seats. They sat down across from each other and ordered drinks before picking up the menu.

They ordered lobster and other sides and sent the waitress on her way.

"Are you enjoying your day so far?" Derek questioned. Yin nodded, "Oh yes, very much."

"Good." Derek smiled. The waitress came by and sat their drinks and a bowl of cheddar biscuits down on the table before leaving again.

"So how's the band?" Yin asked as he grabbed a biscuit. Derek took a sip of soda before answering, "Good. We're working on some new stuff we hope to finish up by next month before we go on tour."

"Oh? Do we get to go on tour with you?"

"Of course. I'm sure we could squeeze into one bed together. Plus the guys love your cooking."

"Sounds like a fair trade then." Yin said with a smile. Yang took over then, face annoyed, "What are you, their lackey?"

"No." Yin said with emphasis, "I like to cook."

"You'll be cooking for like six people."

"That's fine."

"And you don't feel used at all?" Yang said, sarcasm staining his voice.

"Nope." Yin replied defiantly, crossing his arms, "It's like I said before, I like to cook."

"Fine. Whatever." Yang rolled his eyes and took a bite of cheddar biscuit. Derek let out a small chuckle, "You should relax a little more. I wouldn't make either of you do something you didn't want to do."

"You're forcing me into this relationship." Yang mumbled irritably.

"Please. You dig me." Derek said jokingly, giving him a cocky grin. Yang said nothing, just looked at him blankly and took another bite.

They sat in silence until their appetizer arrived. Derek guessed that the two were having a private chat in their shared mind, so he didn't try to push conversation.

Finally, Yin took over and smiled as a plate full of hot food was set at their table. They divided up what was on the plate onto two smaller plates on the table.

"I love clam strips." Yin commented before tossing one into his mouth.

"Me too." Derek agreed.

They talked about various things as they waited for the main course, which arrived within ten minutes. They both smiled at the waitress and thanked her as she took the empty plates.

"I've got something for you." Derek said, drawing Yin's attention. "What is it?"

Derek shifted and reached into his pocket, pulling out the little black box. He opened it in his lap where the other couldn't see it and took out the ring. "Now don't freak out." He said, more as a warning to Yang, as he reached an empty hand across the table, palm up and open. Yin took the hint and put his hand in his boyfriend's.

Derek pulled the hand a little closer and gently slipped the ring on a delicate finger with his other hand. Yin's eyes widened, "Derek?"

"It's not exactly a wedding ring." Derek explained, "More like a promise ring. I bought myself a matching one. I want us to stay loyal to one another, because I want this relationship to last." He gave a charming smile.

Yin lightly ran his thumb over the ring on his finger, eyes still wide. He blinked, coming out of his daze and gave a slight nod. Derek knew that the nod wasn't for him. Yang had said something and Yin was agreeing. He bit his lip, unsure of what was going to happen.

Yin looked up at him and smiled, "Oh, Derek! I love you so much!" He said, looking completely sincere. Derek smiled, "I love you too babe." He pulled the smaller hand close and lightly kissed the ring finger, earning a small laugh from the man across from him.

Yin talked excitedly throughout the rest of dinner, smiling and laughing while Derek nodded in agreement to everything he said, his own smile never wavering.

After they finished and paid, they headed to the car, fingers twined. Derek stopped at the passenger door and turned to his beloved, "I haven't heard from Yang recently. Is he okay with this?"

Yin shrugged, "He said 'well isn't that interesting' when you slipped the ring on my finger, but he's been silent aside from that. I don't think he's mad, but it still worries me."

Derek opened the door and allowed Yin to slip inside before shutting it and getting in on his own side. "Yang? Could we talk?" Derek asked as he started the car.

After a few seconds of silence, Yin frowned, "He's not responding."

"Great." Derek groaned, "He's pissed."

"I don't think so. He cusses and yells when he's mad. When he's quiet he's thinking."

"That's not much better." Derek mumbled to himself. He pulled out of the parking lot and headed back to the house.

When they pulled into the driveway and shut off the vehicle, Derek climbed out first and closed his door as Yin got out of his side. They walked to the door which Derek unlocked and opened before gesturing for Yin to enter first. Yin smiled as he walked past his lover and into the house, kicking of his shoes at the door. Derek followed close behind, shutting and locking the door once he was in the house, also removing his shoes.

They walked into the living room, where Derek wrapped his arms around his boyfriend's shoulders and pulled him against his chest. Yin gave a soft sigh as he leaned against him, wrapping his arms around his middle, "What do you want to do now?" Yin asked in a near whisper. Derek smirked, leaning down to whisper into his ear, "Shall we retire to the bedroom?"

Yin let out a small giggle and nodded, moving back enough for Derek to grasp his hand and lead him into their bedroom.

Once in the room, Derek leaned down and kissed Yin deeply. Yin responded immediately, leaning into the kiss and pressing himself as close as possible to the other body. Derek pulled away from the kiss and moved his lips to his lover's neck, lightly nipping and sucking at the skin there while his hands ran up the front of Yin's shirt.

Yin sighed in pleasure and turned his head to allow Derek better access. Once he left a sufficient mark, Derek moved away long enough to pull Yin's shirt off and toss it to the floor. Yin gasped and whimpered when Derek moved his lips to the other side of his neck and his fingers worked at his nipples. He reached up and gripped Derek's shoulder's tightly, shuddering when the blonde man slid his lips up to kiss his jaw.

"Derek." Yin whispered urgently. Said man took the hint and pushed Yin backward onto the bed. Yin crawled backward until he was at the top of the bed and waited as Derek tossed his shirt and jeans to the floor before crawling up the bed himself. Yin laid back as Derek got on top of him and resumed his abuse. He placed kisses along pale skin as he worked the zipper on tight fitting jeans.

Within seconds, they were thrown to the floor. Derek pressed his lips against Yin's lovingly.

"Has Yang said anything recently?" He asked when he moved away, placing kisses on Yin's chest and slowly moving lower. "No. Nothing." Yin whimpered.

"That's too bad. I was sort of hoping he'd join us for once since it's our anniversary."

Yin gasped as Derek kissed his stomach, "H-he doesn't like... physical contact..."

"I know, but still." Derek placed a light kiss just above the waistband of a blue pair of boxers, "I want to do the same things with him that I do with you." He slipped two fingers underneath the band and lightly slid it down, "I want him to love me like I love you both." He threw the boxers in the same direction as some other articles of clothing, "I want to hold him and tell him how I feel and I want him to want to be held and to feel the same." He couldn't help but smirk at the sight of the patch of hair between smooth legs. Much like the hair on his head, this hair was divided right down the middle; half white and half black.

"That would be nice." Yin gasped and whimpered as Derek placed kisses back up his stomach and chest, moving up until he placed a rough one on his lips before pressing his fingers against moist pink lips. Yin opened his mouth and took them in, licking and sucking them like a delicious lollipop. Derek watched silently, eyes clouded with lust, before removing his digits and reaching down to lightly prod Yin's tight entrance.

Yin made a small noise as one finger slipped inside. Derek moved lower to gently suck on Yin's length as he thrust his finger in and out of that tight heat. "Oh Derek." Yin groaned, tangling his fingers in blonde hair and back arching. Derek bobbed his head as he placed a second finger inside, making Yin moan. He scissored his fingers before adding a third and deep throating, earning a small cry from the other male.

Derek let the length fall from his mouth as he removed his fingers. He reached toward a drawer to get lube when the body beneath him suddenly sat up. He looked into the glaring eyes of Yang.

"Condom." Yang dead panned. Derek groaned, "Oh come on, it's our anniversary!"

"I don't care. Condom. And this." Yang said as he reached over, opened the drawer and pulled out a cock ring.

"You're just trying to torture me, aren't you?"

"Do it."

Derek sighed through his nose, angry, but did as Yang asked. He removed his boxers and took the ring from Yang, sliding it on along with the condom. "Happy?"

Yang nodded and let Yin take over as they fell back against the pillows. "Sorry." Yin said, "I don't know what's gotten into him."

Derek shrugged, not missing the mischievous glint in Yin's eye and figuring the two were planning something, but letting it slide since it couldn't be anything too bad if Yin agreed to it.

"Ready?" He asked as he positioned himself at Yin's entrance. The smaller man nodded. The blonde carefully pushed in, holding Yin's legs in a comfortable position as he slid in as deep as he could, forcing a loud moan from the body beneath him. He groaned at the familiar tightness and forced himself to stay still to keep from hurting his lover.

Yin took three deep breaths and nodded. Derek began to slowly move in and out.

It didn't take long to build up a steady rhythm. Yin panted and moaned as his prostate was continuously brushed. Derek leaned forward and placed a gentle kiss on his lover's forehead, grabbing his neglected member and stroking it in time with his thrusts.

Yin's moans and whimpers increased in frequency and volume until he finally reached his limit and spilled his seed all over his stomach. Derek groaned when he felt the hot walls tighten and became frustrated at the fact that he could not come.

Still, he found the sight beneath him beautiful. Yin's normally pale skin was flushed and he was panting lightly, eyes clouded with pleasure.

Derek smiled and laid down beside him, pulling the smaller body against him in a gentle embrace and lightly kissing his forehead.

"Don't treat me like some little girl." Yang snapped as he moved away. Derek sighed through his nose in annoyance. Yang sat up and glared down at the older man, "Get that dirty condom off and out of this bed. We washed the sheets yesterday."

Derek wanted nothing more than to lash out, but he couldn't. His passive aggressive nature wouldn't allow it. Instead, he removed the condom and tossed it into a waist bin next to the bed.

"Good boy." Yang said as he got onto all fours facing Derek. He reached out and easily removed the cock ring, tossing it across the room.

Derek was incredibly surprised when Yang gripped his member tightly, lightly licking the tip before taking the whole thing in in one quick swallow. Derek groaned and rested his hand in multicolored hair. He let his eyes slip closed as Yang bobbed his head in a steady rhythm.

Just as he thought he would explode, Yang stopped. Before he could say anything, Yang was climbing on top of him, blank expression in place as he reached behind him and grasped Derek's member, lining it up with his entrance. Derek reached out and grasped his hips, stopping him, "What are you doing?"

Yang gave him an annoyed look, "What does it look like?"

"It looks like you're bored. I want you to want to do this."

Yang scowled, "I don't do favors and I don't go out of my way to something for anyone but Yin. I wouldn't be doing this if I didn't want to. Now shut up or I will stop and you can jack yourself off."

Derek released the thin hips and let his hands rest on the bed. Yang lowered himself, gasping slightly as he was penetrated, and slid all the way down. He paused, the normally blank face now featuring a blissful expression, and waited a few seconds before slowly going back up, then falling down again, earning a small noise from his lover.

Yang slowly increased the rhythm, gasping and panting as he let gravity help him. At one point Derek attempted to reach out and rub Yang's member, but his hand was slapped away with a bark of "Don't touch me!"

Derek felt himself drawing close, but, like before, Yang suddenly stopped. "I'm tired." He stated matter-of-factly as he climbed off and walked across the room. Derek groaned in annoyance and watched as Yang stopped on the other side of the room and leaned against the wall, giving him an oddly seductive look. He sat up and got off the bed, going across the room and standing close in front of the slightly shorter man.

"Well?" Yang asked expectantly. Derek leaned down, swiftly stealing a rough kiss. Yang threw his arms around his neck and pulled him closer, deepening the kiss. The blonde man pressed himself against the smaller man and ran his hands up and down his sides.

Yang let out an annoyed growl and broke the kiss, "Will you just fuck me against this fucking wall already!?" He snapped. Derek smirked and picked the other up, forcing him roughly against the wall and kissing him harshly as slender legs wrapped around his waist and thin arms wrapped around his neck.

Derek was taken my surprise at how loud Yang was when he was penetrated. At first he feared that he'd hurt the smaller body, but the blissful expression said other wise. Yang groaned and opened his legs wider, "Come on. Move!"

"Are you sure you're-?"

"I won't fucking break!" Yang bucked his hips to get his point across. Derek sighed in pleasure and began roughly thrusting.

Derek was pleased as Yang moaned loudly and cried out often, writhing and moving against him wildly. It was probably the most erotic thing he'd ever seen. Panting, he pressed a rough kiss against pale lips then moved to bite at tender flesh on a smooth neck, "You like being dominated, don't you bitch?" He whispered huskily, surprising even himself.

"Oh god, only by you baby!" Yang whimpered in return, which Derek found to be utterly shocking and a huge turn-on. He reached between them and began pumping Yang's member in time with his quick, powerful thrusts.

"I'm so close!" Yang groaned loudly. "Me too." Derek grunted, feeling himself nearing the edge.

"Come inside me." Yang whimpered before his body stiffened and he cried out Derek's name, spilling his seed on their stomachs. Derek groaned as he released his own seed inside his lover. Yang whimpered at the sensation and held Derek closer as he was roughly thrust into a few more times before all movement stopped.

They moved and shifted and Derek was sitting on the floor and leaning against the wall, Yang in his lap leaning against him. Yang shuddered at the sensation of Derek's fluids leaving him. "Fuck... I need a bath..."

Derek chuckled, "Me too."
